The French government issued the request of “the new environmental protection bill” recently, the products sold in French market need be disclosed product environmental information compulsorily, including indicated its entire life cycle (i.e. from raw material, manufacture, storage and transport, abandon to recycle entire process) and the carbon content of packing. Namely the commodity’s carbon dioxide (CO2) Content which discharged in the production process need be indicated on the product label, then consumer could know the carbon information. This bill passed in 12 July,2010,will start to try out on 01 July,2011,one year at least.
